  • SJSU's College of Sciences and Arts (CASA) offers a lottery grant. Students and faculty are encouraged to apply. Basically you decide what you want money for, submit a proposal, then get denied or approved. Several SLISsers have already been awarded monies. Note: Check this site regularly, SJSU seems to upload this information only as it nears the application deadline.
  • Dean's SLIS Graduate Scholarship offers $500 to one student in a school year and is not based on financial need. Note: Check this site regularly, SJSU seems to upload this information only as it nears the application deadline.
  • ALA Spectrum awards scholarships of $5000 to numerous students of diverse cultural backgrounds who show promise as future leaders in the field.
